A Career Rooted in Compassion and Excellence

With over 36 years of experience in physical therapy, Yvette Sardillo has dedicated her career to helping patients restore mobility, regain independence, and improve their quality of life. As co-owner and Clinical Director of Power Center Physical Therapy, Aquatics & Wellness, she combines clinical expertise, compassionate care, and entrepreneurial leadership to make a lasting impact on her patients and community.

Born and raised in the Philippines, Yvette earned her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from De La Salle University, Health Sciences Institute. She immigrated to the United States in 1992, beginning her career in neurological rehabilitation in New York before moving to California’s High Desert. There, she established and led a hospital rehabilitation department and later served as Director of Rehabilitation Services at Desert Valley Hospital and Medical Group.

Since 2004, Yvette and her husband, Tony, have grown Power Center Physical Therapy into an established rehabilitation practice serving Victorville, Apple Valley, Hesperia, and surrounding communities. Her vision has always been to bridge the gap between healthcare and fitness, creating an environment where patients feel supported not only through recovery but also in maintaining lifelong wellness.

Clinical Expertise and Philosophy

Yvette holds certifications in pelvic health, ergonomic evaluation SCEES), and strength and conditioning (CSCS), along with a specialty in wound care. Her extensive training includes neurological rehabilitation, aquatic therapy, hand therapy, vestibular rehabilitation, and orthopedics.

Her primary clinical focus is pelvic floor rehabilitation and orthopedic physical therapy, where she finds particular fulfillment in helping patients overcome challenges and achieve meaningful improvements in their daily lives.

She believes that exceptional care begins with listening, understanding each patient’s goals, and developing individualized treatment plans. For Yvette, the greatest reward is celebrating her patients’ progress and knowing she has made a positive difference in their lives.

She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), California Physical Therapy Association (CPTA), and Women’s Health Therapy Association. She speaks English, Tagalog, and some Spanish.

Beyond the Clinic

An accomplished distance runner, Yvette has completed over 100 half and full marathons, inspired by her personal philosophy of “running for those who cannot.” She also enjoys traveling, hiking, camping, boating, yoga, sewing, and recreational shooting, and has a fond appreciation for fine wine and international cuisine.

Family remains her greatest source of pride. She and her husband, Tony, have four children: two practicing Doctors of Physical Therapy, one pursuing a career in law, and one serving as an Air Force officer. Their family also includes their beloved dogs.

Proud of her Filipino heritage and the life she has built in America, Yvette continues to embrace new opportunities with gratitude, determination, and a passion for helping others.

For Yvette, physical therapy is more than a profession—it is a lifelong commitment to helping people move better, feel better, and live better.
